Tiny Home Program

The Tiny Home Program, administered by the Housing Authority of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma (HASNOK), provides affordable and secure housing for near-elderly (55+) and elderly (62+) residents who meet income eligibility requirements. This program is designed to offer safe, decent, and accessible housing options for older adults seeking stability and independence. Participants lease tiny home units as their principal residence and are responsible for maintaining the property, utilities, and compliance with program rules. Residency is limited to two adults, with no children permitted. Monthly rent is set at $550, with qualified low-income Native American families eligible for $350 in rental assistance through HASNOK’s Rental Assistance Program. Preference in housing is given first to Seminole Nation members, followed by other tribal citizens, and then non-Native applicants. Through this program, HASNOK helps preserve dignity and community for elders while ensuring equitable and consistent treatment of applicants.
